Bauchi NDC governorship candidate resigns, may join APC

Mr Kashim, the Bauchi State governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has resigned from the party in a statement dated 16 October. Kashim, a former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), officially resigned from the NDC. There is speculation that he may join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
