The Federal Government has paid an additional ₦4.25 billion in outstanding pension and severance benefits to 600 former workers and other eligible beneficiaries of the defunct Nigeria Airways Limited. This payment brings the total disbursed to former workers of the airline to a new amount. The government has been settling outstanding entitlements owed to ex-staff of the defunct national carrier.
