The Senate has confirmed the nomination of Engr. Sani Mohammed Ndanusa as a Non-Career Ambassador/High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The confirmation followed the presentation and adoption of a report by the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, chaired by Senator Sani Abubakar, which screened the nominee after his nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. During plenary, Senate President Godswill Akpabio presented the recommendations of the Committee of the Whole, which scrutinised the screening report. Lawmakers gave a unanimous affirmative voice vote, after which the Senate President formally declared the nominee confirmed.
