The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has conducted an air interdiction in the Lake Chad region, eliminating several prominent Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters. According to preliminary post-strike assessments, those killed include individuals identified as key figures within the group's security structure and leadership council. One of the strategists eliminated was identified as "JINDULLAH," reportedly the chief security guard and confidant of Abu Saleem, while another, "ABUL KISSA," was a member of ISWAP's Shura Council.
