Former President Goodluck Jonathan has warned politicians ahead of the 2027 elections to place national interest above party loyalty and sectional considerations. He declared that Nigeria is greater than any political party and politician in the country. Jonathan stressed that politics can only be played when there is a peaceful Nigeria. Other leaders, including Ganduje and Okowa, also commented on political defections and public trust.
