The naira depreciated on the official market on Wednesday, closing at N1,669.15/$1 compared to N1,541.94/$1 on Monday, data from FMDQ shows. The local currency also weakened on the parallel market yesterday, as it fell to N1,690 per dollar compared to N1,680/$1 on Tuesday, traders said.
