Farmer jailed one year for attempted assault in Plateau

A Jos Magistrates’ Court on Monday sentenced a 24-year-old farmer, Zaidu Mohammed, to one year in prison for attempted assault. The Magistrate, Shawomi Bokkos, sentenced the convict after he pleaded guilty to attempted trespass and assault. Bokkos, however, gave Mohammed an option of N50,000 fine.
