French Embassy, Alliance Franciase move to grow local artists in Rivers

Alliance Franciase, with support from the French Embassy, has begun a talent hunt project in Rivers State to enable local artists and music producers to grow in the entertainment industry. The project, according to the Director of Alliance Franciase in Port Harcourt, Mrs Marina Lacal, would create more opportunities for youths to showcase their talents, keep them engaged and make them become self-reliant. Lacal noted that the project would also promote Nigeria’s indigenous culture, adding that the organisation is involved in variety of engaging activities such as dance performances, music showcases, film screenings, exhibitions, and informative discussions.
