Police confirm death of mother, five children after eating local delicacy in Kano

The Kano State Police Command has confirmed that six family members died after eating a local delicacy, (Danwake) in Gwarzo Local Government Area of the state. A widow, Alhakatu Abdulkarim, and her five children, Bashir, Firdausi, Hafsat, Usman and Jamilu passed on few hours after they consumed the suspected contaminated delicacy.
