Former Flying Eagles defender Marvin Ekpiteta has joined Scottish Premiership club, Hibernian.Ekpiteta linked up with Hibernian on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with English League One side Blackpool.The 28-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Hibs.The centre-back rose through the English football pyramid, winning promotion with both Leyton Orient and Blackpool.Read Also:Ighalo Hints On Retirement From FootballOn the signing, Hibernian FC Head Coach David Gray said: “Marvin is someone I look forward to working with. He has great experience at a good level in England and adds extra leadership to the dressing room.“Physically, he has all the attributes that fit the demands of Scottish football; he’s big, strong, dominant, very athletic, and will be an asset in both boxes.
