Former Kano State Governor, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, has cautioned against godfatherism in selecting leaders in Nigeria. Shekarau said godfatherism would lead to picking inexperienced and morally bankrupt leaders. He noted that the pattern of godfatherism in selecting leaders in Nigeria must change.
